Not following above rules and the other rules/requirements of this forum is ground for instant removal of the thread along with a warning or a possible ban.
How to Play and Burn Vob Files

Vob stands for " Video Object " and is a format that is used on DVDs. Shares that consist of pure Vob files is rare because generally those have been converted into formats like .avi etc but sometimes you might run into a share with Vobs files and its actually very simple to play and also burn it.

This has been tested in Windows Media Player 12 and Media Player Classic.

1. Play

Right click the first file thats named " VIDEO_TS.IFO " and then choose Open. Now point towards Windows Media Player. When you click OK the movie will start by itself and you just have to wait for the menu.

You can also start the movie by open your prefered player first and from there find and open the same file. It works both ways as long you find and choose the correct file to start with.

2. Burn

My personal preference when it comes to burn CDs or DVDs is the freeware CDBurnerXP found here:

http://cdburnerxp.se/help/Data/create-video-dvd

Scroll down a little on that page and you will find a very easy tutorial on how to " Burning video DVDs ". Thats how you burn your Vob files. Its easy as that!

Please remember that depending on how the Vob files are shared this might not 100% work for all Vob file movies.

Enjoy!
